Benjamin J. Foster's athletic career was marked by exceptional versatility and a relentless pursuit of excellence. A four-sport letterman in high school, Foster excelled in baseball, football, wrestling, and track & field. His football prowess earned him a spot on the Georgia 1st team All-State football team in 1997.
Foster's collegiate athletic journey continued at Wofford College, where he played both baseball and football. As a three-year letterman and two-year captain of the football team, he showcased his leadership and athletic abilities. Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Foster's academic prowess was equally impressive. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in biology and served as student body president.
Foster's dedication to his craft extended beyond the playing field. He holds the bench press and power clean records for running backs at Wofford College, a testament to his strength and athleticism. His academic achievements were also recognized, as he was named an Academic All-American and received the SoCon Dave Hart Postgraduate Scholarship.
One of Foster's most significant honors came in 2001 when he was awarded the prestigious Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar of the Year. This award recognized his outstanding academic performance, athletic accomplishments, and commitment to community service.
After graduating from Wofford College, Foster's passion for athletics led him to work for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as an analyst for the Football Issues Committee. He furthered his education by earning a Master's in Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Foster's entrepreneurial spirit and love for sports converged when he launched a venture aimed at assisting high school athletes in securing college coaching opportunities. His extensive experience as an athlete and his knowledge of the recruiting process made him well-suited to guide young athletes on their path to collegiate success.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Foster has been a dedicated youth sports coach for over two decades. He is passionate about teaching young athletes the fundamental skills and principles of their chosen sports. Foster's coaching philosophy emphasizes not only athletic development but also academic excellence. He incorporates statistics and advanced analytics into his training sessions, fostering a well-rounded approach to sports performance.

Coach Brady brings an unparalleled level of discipline, leadership, and expertise to the team, shaped by his diverse background in both sports and military service. As a former Green Beret in the U.S. Army, Brady honed his skills in training, building relationships, and leading teams, even in the most challenging environments. His experience training host-nation allies across cultural and language barriers sharpened his eye for talent and his ability to recognize each player’s unique strengths. Brady understands how to bring out the best in his athletes by identifying what motivates them and using their individual abilities to drive success.
Brady’s passion for talent development is rooted in his ability to break down complex ideas into small, achievable steps, allowing athletes to build confidence over time. This ability to simplify and communicate big concepts in an actionable way is something that Brady shares with Coach Benjamin, ensuring that players receive the most effective instruction possible. His goal is to build each player's confidence, empowering them to develop a powerful self-image that translates into high self-efficacy both on and off the field.
With five seasons as a head coach at Neartown Little League, Brady has created a collaborative yet competitive environment. He empowers his coaching staff to lead their areas, maximizing practice efficiency and minimizing overlap for the betterment of the players. His leadership on the field is driven by his focus on fundamentals, hard work, and sportsmanship, ensuring that athletes not only grow in their skills but also develop character, confidence, and leadership.
Brady's communication skills are equally important off the field. He understands the importance of creating a positive experience for both players and their parents, helping build a supportive community around the team. As a board member of Neartown Little League, he has served in multiple roles, including head coach, division head, event coordinator, and webmaster.
A lifelong learner and sports enthusiast, Brady is a multi-sport athlete, excelling in baseball, wrestling, football, lacrosse, track and field, martial arts, and soccer. In high school, he lettered in wrestling, football, and track and field, serving as captain of the wrestling team, where he led his team to two league championships and earned individual league champion titles. He also competed in and placed in powerlifting competitions.
In addition to his extensive baseball knowledge, Brady has coached soccer and has expertise in powerlifting, strength and conditioning, and calisthenics. His passion for fitness has also led him to coach as a fitness instructor, where he applies the same principles of discipline, effort, and teamwork. Brady believes that character development is the cornerstone of sports and strives to instill these values in every athlete he coaches. He teaches players to embrace competition, learn from both victories and losses, and become well-rounded athletes who are confident, strong leaders, and great teammates.
Coach Laurie brings both leadership and passion to the Champs HTX team, leveraging her extensive experience as an athlete, mentor, educator, and coach. As the captain of both her softball and volleyball teams, Laurie built a strong foundation in teamwork, dedication, and perseverance—qualities that have become central to her coaching philosophy. Throughout her career, Laurie has demonstrated a unique ability to inspire athletes of all ages, helping them reach their full potential through hard work and discipline.
In addition to her sports coaching, Laurie has a rich history as an educator, where she not only taught high school but also led students in business startup competitions, guiding them to victory through strategic thinking and leadership development. Her experience in the classroom further honed her ability to connect with young people and foster their growth, both academically and athletically.
With over a decade of mentorship through the Big Brother Big Sister program, Laurie has cultivated a deep understanding of youth development, guiding young people not only to excel in sports but also to become confident, well-rounded individuals. Her professional history spans leadership roles in teaching and coaching, including organizing adult volleyball leagues, coaching girls' basketball and volleyball teams, and conditioning athletes across various age groups. Laurie's commitment to fostering growth both in and out of the game is evident in everything she does, creating an environment where athletes thrive both as players and as people.
A proud "boy mom" with four boys, Laurie understands the importance of balancing fun with skill development, especially in youth sports. Her approach goes beyond the physical aspects of athletic training, placing a strong emphasis on character-building. Laurie believes that the lessons learned through sports—resilience, discipline, teamwork, and leadership—are invaluable life skills. Whether coaching on the field or mentoring off it, Coach Laurie is committed to empowering every athlete to become not only a better player but a stronger individual.
